So you’ve set up your conference call, set the agenda and invited all the relevant people who have subsequently entered the details into the diaries so there’s no chance of anyone getting caught cold by the call.
Unfortunately, not everyone is in the habit of checking their diaries, and computerised calendar reminders are often just clicked shut as if they were annoying internet pop-ups.
Smartphones and mobiles, however, are not so readily ignored – so it makes sense to be on the safe side and send everyone a reminder via text message.
And with ConferenceCall.co.uk you can send a free SMS reminder to everyone on the conference call.
How to set an SMS reminder
On the ConferenceCall.co.uk hompage, click on the SMS Reminder tab, as below:
Then simply follow the onscreen instructions.
Firstly, enter the date, time, conference call PIN code and your email address – this is needed to send you a confirmation email that the reminders have been set and give you an option to cancel the reminders if necessary.
Next, enter the mobile numbers of each participant scheduled to take part in the call – only UK numbers beginning ’07’ can be entered – and then confirm by entering the onscreen security code.
And that’s all there is to it; 15 minutes before the call is due to start, ConferenceCall.co.uk will then send each participant an SMS reminder containing the dial-in number and PIN code.
