As many as 10 million Android smartphones have been hit by a malware attack that generates fake clicks for adverts , while also installing apps to spy on browsing habits.
The majority of the attacks have happened on Android handsets in China, and it’s believed scam is pulling in around £200,000 a month for its creators.

Amazon has just launched Echo – a cloud-connected personal assistant that can help with everything from homework to housekeeping, answering an infinite number of questions and adding items to your shopping list through simple voice commands.
So while Google has been concentrating on nightmarish robot dog lords of the future, and Apple has been pushing it watch on an underwhelmed world, has Amazon crept in the back door and won the battle of the personal assistants?

Apple has announced that next month the UK will be the first country outside of the US to get its Apple Pay service that allows consumers to make payments by waving their iPhone of Apple Watch at contactless payment terminals.
The system uses NFC technology – the same tech that powers our Wallet Cards – and will be offered at around £250,000 locations across the UK and cover around 70% of credit and debit cards.

Well if the findings of a recent Ofcom study are anything to go by, it seems 4G is worth it, as it consistently outperforms 3G in terms of mobile broadband performance.
